So for the longest time I’ve been faced with one of the most frustrating stereotypes, that Irish people don’t drink wine. I’m Irish, so by default I need to like either Guinness or whiskey, or both, and that’s it. Now I’ve come across a research that suggests otherwise and I have to say that I’m very happy that the fine folks over at the IrishCentral.com have decided to do this to me very important research.

Beer of course comes in at first place, no wonder, and you can’t really drink whiskey like you would drink wine, so it makes sense that wine is so popular. But no one believes me when I tell them that there exist Irish people who like wine. We don’t have a lot of wineries, and most of the wine is imported, but dammit we do drink it.
